Grilling will only be permitted at least twenty (20) feet from the building.
Each building contains at least one and perhaps two exterior water spigots, located on the sides of each building. The pipes in most instances run from the outside spigot through the interior wall(s) and in most cases across the ceilings(s). This potentially extends through other units floors and/or ceilings.
THE OUTSIDE AND INSIDE MAINTENANCE OF THE SPIGOT, VALVES(S) AND INTERIOR PIPING IS THE SOLE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE UNIT OWNER WHOSE UNIT CONTAINS THE SPIGOT AND THE PLUMBING.
Any damage resulting from leakage in the interior pipes is also the responsibility of the unit owner.
It is important that these systems be winterized in the fall by turning off the interior valve, draining the pipes leading to the exterior spigot and leaving the spigot open until the system is reactivated in the spring. This should prevent damage due to freezing. Water usage from the outside faucets is separately metered and is the responsibility of the unit owner.
If you are unsure if the spigot attached to your building is part of your unit, please call EJF Real Estate Services at (301) 202-537-1801. Written confirmation will be sent to you.
